My dad’s award and the JCPenney’s opening….

 

On Thursday, October 1, 2009, my father received an award from the Fresh Start Women’s Center as Man of the Year for the entire East Valley thanks to his commitment to women and children in need.

Bethany wasn’t able to attend because she was giving a presentation in class where she was “brilliant”. 

(My dad was so surprised to see Michelle, Chilo, Becca, Brittney and Danielle attend the event!)

My mama’s signature face…….funny thing is she knows I’m gonna BLOG about her and she still does it!!!

It was a really nice event…………..!

The next morning, five of my ninos were able to accept a check for our Clubhouse and cut the ribbon of the new JCPenney’s in Chandler!  We are so excited that this store has opened!

Now I needed kids that could miss a few hours of school on a Friday…..right before the kids went on break for two weeks and 2 days….(Yes, Monday begins FALL BREAK so help me!) So what do I do when I am in a bind and parents kept telling me no???? I call on kids I love!
