Taking Chance...

I am fortunate to have spent my Sunday morning watching the movie "Taking Chance".

A true story about Lt. Corp. Michael Strobl escorting the body of PFC Chance Phelps from Deleware to Wyoming.

There are so many things that I walked away from in this movie.

The amount of respect and honor that was given to him across the country surprised me and it shouldn't. People are very vocal if they are anti war or pro war yet this doesn't matter when a soilder dies.

This movie showed us things we've never seen----there is someone who's job is to clean the bodies of the soilders before they are returned to their families? I had no idea about an escort service for these fallen men and women.

I learned a lot.

I felt a lot.

And I think it's something that people should see. (I netflixed it).
