Waiting patiently........
To fall asleep.
My mind was all over the place.
Tomorrow night (Wednesday) we have our 21st annual Thanksgiving Dinner at the Club.
Over 700 people attend from the community.
Which means I have to put on quite a show. Over 200 volunteers, 40 turkeys, 120 volunteers, the mayor and of course my kids, the biggest guest of them all.
So this list was just running through my head....
Who's going to say the Prayer? (I need to pick someone)
Who's going to say the Pledge (pick someone!)
Are all of the aprons decorated for the City Council?
Do I have raffle tickets?
Goodness! It's suppose to rain that night!!!
I literally waited and tossed and turned for over an hour.
Which then made the time after 3am for those of you keeping track at home.
And then, my brain was SO good to me, it began to give me MORE to think about.
Things like have I paid a certain bill yet? I need to buy Nutcracker tickets. What do I want for Christmas? I need to find that recepe. I need to go to the gym tonight.
Oh my goodness! It was never ending.
But at some point, I did fall asleep.
Only to dream about all of my stuff.
