Part 2..

We arrived in San Diego at 6:20 am. We checked into the Hampton Inn and slept for a few hours. All Elias girls getting ready in a very small hotel room---crazy.

The bathroom had 3 of these plugged in!

We were on the road by 11am! Zack was flying from Germany to North Carolina to San Diego

The girls had made a sheet banner that you put on the fence of the entrance that says welcome home! It was neat to see so many signs throughout the base. This is the girls jumping over barbed wire to hang it up.

We finally get to where we need to get (after an informative tour of the base and a de ja vu of the Big Ben scene of Europeon Vacation).........here we are:

I think Bethany pushed a few people out of the way to get to her fella.

They get off the bus with their weapons and before they turn them in, they have to shoot them into this can to make sure they don't have ammo in them. So they line up and shoot.....interesting.
