The 26 hour roadtrip part 1

***Thursday night, all four Elias girls embarked on a journey to Camp Pendleton to welcome back Zack to the good ole US of A from his deployment to Iraq. This is a crazy account of the trip.

We met at my parents house at 11:30 pm however we still had to go to Walmart and guy regular clothes for Zack to change into and Becca (being the fabulous best friend that she is!) brought me some stuff that I had forgotten at home.

So we officially got on the road at 12:30 however not really----still had to get gas. This man was spraying the gas station down and kinda yelled at us to get off his hose.

So now we are off! Brittney had rented a car that had 2 rows of seats so bethany had a row and dani had a row---i sat in the front.

We drove and talked and listened to some crazy fun music---and then we got to the checkpoint and the VERY cute guy says, "Please state your country of orgin" and my sister says. "ARIZONA! Of the United States of America!" All she heard was the word "state!" Very funny. No sooner as that cutie said, "Have a safe drive" did we have flashing police lights in our rear view!
Part two tomorrow :) But here's a hint......
