Some things about me.......

I read in another blog 60 random things about a person........so here are mine. YIKES!

1. Arrowhead water is my favorite.

2. When I was a kid, I did an episode of Reading Rainbow and a commercial for Chuck E. Cheese---all because I was a club kid.

3. I always wanted a ladmo bag and never went to the show :(

4. When I was little, we use to watch Bozo the Clown in the mornings and I loved the GRAND PRIZE GAME with the ping pong balls.

5. When I was little, getting ready for school took a long time.....i move slowly in the morning. So my mom would threaten to turn off the tv. (Bozo or Ladmo!)....I am exactly the same way now and usually get up 2-3 hours before I have to leave because I move slowly.

6. When we were little and it was grandparents day at school, my mom would pick us up from school (brittney and I) and take us home for lunch. I remember sitting on the barstools at the counter and eating bean burros and orange rice and having a MUCH better lunch and time then those people at school eating a sack lunch with their grandparents.

7. Yeah, my mom is pretty cool.

8. I've always loved being the oldest because I am so bossy.

9. I ditched school ONCE in high school----and got caught. School called my mom and I tried the whole "but mom, you did it when you were in high school" which got me nowhere and I was grounded.

10. When I was 21, Phoenix hosted the NBA All Star game. I went out to some place with my roommates (they were round the way girls) and one giant man literally picked me up and moved me. I was terrified.

11. My first car was a candy apple red 1967 mustang which I never drove because my parents took it away when I threw a party when they were out of town.

12. The irony of the above was that they sold it to my boyfriend.

13. In the 2nd grade at Keller ELementary, I played the Virgin Mary in the school play. Yes, we actually had a VIRGIN MARY in the school play!

14. I played the violin for two years yet never learned how to read music. I had friends who would "translate" the music for me so I knew what to play.

15. The diamond necklace that I never take off was made from the diamond of my engagement ring.

16. I was married for 16 months.

17. I was fired from my first job.

18. My first job was a secretary at the Boys & Girls Club when I was 16.

19. I was fired for having that party at my parents house when they were out of town that ended up having my car taken away. The party included people that I worked with therefore I was fired.

21. First alcoholic beverage.

22. First hickey that I was taught how to get rid of with a frozen spoon by my boss!

23. Met a boy from a baseball team that kissed me in front of my dad!

24. Met another boy that was beautiful and smart and funny and had a girlfriend.

25. Popcorn is in my top 10 favorite foods.

26. Still at my age, on the first day of school, I get crazy nervous butterflies.

27. I love sunflowers, tulips, iris and gerber daisies---all happy flowers.

28. Someone who really made a difference in my life was Mr. Mirizio, my teacher in 11th and 12th grade. To this day, my kids and my staff know that I end meetings, announcements, etc. with "happy day"!

29. I love fun dips.

30. One of my guilty pleasures are magazines---I have 10+ magazine subscriptions---Us, Latina, Hispanic, Cosmo, Glamour, New York...I could go on and on.

31. When I am with my sisters and we need to get each other's attention, we always talk about shoes being on sale. Shhhh...

32. LL Cool J is my celebrity crush. yum.

33. When I was in high school, I use to snack on dry Cheerios because they had something out about oats could help you grow.

34. My high school crush was Leon Amaro. OMG he was the most adorable guy I'd ever seen. From my freshman year through my graduation (even though he graduated before me), I was smitten. One time, during class, I was walking and he was ahead of me and no one was around and he looked back twice and smiled and I could have died! (Yes I had a boyfriend during this time but this was different!).

35. I don't like pizza.

36. I love to wear johnson and johnson baby lotion. My favorite scent.

37. I love old tv shows---bewitched, i love lucy, brady bunch, leave it to beaver, etc.

38. I love my cell phone because it's so small---someone pointed out this weekend it's smaller than an egg.

39. I do not eat eggs. Unless my dad makes them with papitas :)

40. My dad makes the best tilapia.

41. In Junior high, we had to sew a pillow in the first initial of our name so mine would have been an M. It looked like an H. I don't sew.

42.. I love strawberries. Love them!

43. I have playdoh on my desk to play with at anytime.

44. When I drink Iced Tea, I need 5-6 lemons in it.

45. Waiters get better tips when they bring ridiculous amounts of lemon :)

46. One of my favorite movies is Xanadu :)

47. I do not like coffee at all.

48. The scariest ride I'll do at Disneyland is Pirates of the Caribbean.

49. Yesterday, I watched Lexi and Robbie while their mom and dad went on a date. It was a light rain so we went outside and played for an hour and I taught Lexi how to make a memory.

50. I don't like wearing a watch so I haven't since the 8th grade.

51. Every August during my vacation, Bec and I spend a day in downtown mesa. We visit Mangos (YUM!) and shop and shop. I usually buy some ridiculously priced paper and have a great time.

52. I was very nervous about going to bethany's graduation in CA. I thought it was going to be like the kardashian ski trip.

53. I have the most vivid, weird dreams.

54. I love cards---I have over 150 cards to give anytime I want. I love hallmark too!

55. I didn't have my ears pierced until i was a senior in high school and then I got it done at walmart w/my friend laurel.

56. I don't like pie. Unless it's a chicken pot pie or Village inn french silk. that's it.

57. Lately, I'm addicted to shaved ice---lemon lime and pink lemonade.

58. I love that my initials are ME and I would never change my last name again (if and when I remarry).

59. I loved doing plays in high school. I loved being on stage.

60. I tend to stay up much later than I should. G'nite.
