Falling

So here I am, home sick bleh.

And I fall asleep.

And I have this dream I'm in San Francisco and I'm at a restaurant by myself. I'm seated at a picnic table with strangers on the other side.

And then there is an earthquake and the entire restaurant falls into the ocean.

And it took a LONG time to fall. Like taking to people along the way.

And gripping my phone.

And once we hit the water, it pushed us to the shore.

It was super scary.

So I looked up the meaning in an online dream dictionary.

It said:
Falling dreams usually indicate uncertainty in our lives. When we are falling in real life, our main concern is “where we are going to land.” We also wonder if we will be hurt by the fall.

Water in dreams is a consistent symbol for emotions. Instead of thinking literally about this recurring symbol, may I suggest that you begin to think metaphorically? Being suspended in deep water suggests a state of being emotionally “in limbo.” Falling into oceans and other large bodies of water, similarly, is a metaphor for being in an emotional “free-fall.”

And obviously the whole phone grasping thing tells me that I feel the Phone is a lifeline. It's valuable. I dropped my iPad to grasp my phone.

Interesting

And for the record, I'm not an ocean fan. I'm afraid of the unknown so I don't like the beach.
