Post on the dating advice....

Oh this post I've been thinking about all week.

People are so opinionated on things they know absolutely nothing about.

1st of all, there are the dating sites. Everyone knows someone who's cousins boss met their love thru __________. Insert eharmony, Christian mingle, match.com, etc there.

Well eharmony.com is super expensive. A year is $240. A month is $60. That's a lot to be rejected or meet a man who lives in Tennessee.

Christian Mingle really wants to know everything. I consider myself to be a non practicing catholic but whoa they want to know what church you currently attend weekly. Whoa.

And I already told you about eBay I mean match.

Then there's the opinions.

"go out with every single man. Even if you aren't attracted to them.".........ewwww no thanks

"at least you'll get some free meals"...........gross no thanks.

"maybe youll get lucky".............. (no words)

What happened to the romance? The fun and excitement of going on a date?

I would love to live in a dating world without Facebook, twitter, texting. Because all of those things make you feel insecure. Why hasn't he called? What's he doing? Let's background check (okay stalk) him to see who he really is? Didn't he say he was going to the store last night? He tweeted something about something else......

And that's all bad but it goes both ways.

I have Facebook, twitter, email, texting and a blog. He can always reach me. Always. So when he doesn't text, tweet, comment, I am the girl looking at my phone 732 times.

I'm not that girl.

When does this become fun ?
