I know I've said it before but I have THE BEST job in the world..........I am honored to spend my days with the future, with the kids that I serve daily......
Well this year, with the help of my great friend Mike Mader from ASU Polytechnic, we've designed a program called:
We (My amazing staff and I) selected 34 TEENS that are in 7th-10th grade. They meet weekly on Wednesday's with ASU Students, Faculty or Staff. Each week is a different theme and they are working on their portfolios for the end of the year.........this program ends in June 2012. It's a huge time commitment but it's an amazing program.
They meet with Clubs from ASU, Student Government on another Wednesday, Financial Aid on another week, ASU Athletics on a different week, it's very intense.
Last week I was fortunate to experience college life with these kids.......23 of the kids attended the day at ASU Polytechnic and it was AWESOME!
