Many of you who read my blog know me very very well.
Many of you who read my blog just kinda know me like we don’t hang out on Friday night’s at the Peach Pit (LOL!)
So some of this blog will come to a shock to many. Just keep reading and don’t be judgmental :)
So this week, Brittney and I took a trip to Nogales, where both of our parents are from, to attend a funeral.
And as sad as that might be, we had so much fun!
Seriously was one of the best trips/times I’ve had in a loooonnnggg time!
(The following pics are pics that brittney took…..i can’t find my camera battery charger so i can’t charge my battery to get my pics off! GRRRR!!!!!)
We stayed with our aunt and uncle and their house is gorgeous! We call it our own little resort! Brittney and I are going to go back in the next month or so and hopefully we’ll be able to see our cousins.
When we arrived, we were given our choice of beverages…..now the weather in Nogales is much cooler and we were sitting outside, enjoying the sites so it made sense for me to drink a little bit.
I know….me? Drink………it’s a rare occasion….I didn’t have any where to go or anywhere to drive and so it felt right.
So I had a few and I felt it the next morning….
As I yawn on the way to the funeral.
Which was in the Sacred Heart Church that I’ve already told you about here
The mass was beautiful however all in Spanish and if you just met me, you wouldn’t know this but I don’t speak Spanish. So I was a bit lost. Okay a lot lost.
After that we went to lunch at Zula’s which is like the Arnold’s of Nogales and I have pics on my camera of this part. Thanks a lot for bringing it up!
Then Britt and I went to Food City to buy flowers cause you gotta take flowers to the cemetery.
Britt is into documenting everything so this is us in line at food city…..i had changed into comfy clothes and put my hair up. I love how tan I am compared to my porcelains doll sister. LOL :)
So we went to the cemetery.
And this is where our family is……….
My Papa Rudy---who taught me that I had an M on the palm of my hand, had crazy curly hair, had a tv that would go loud and soft in the volume and always remembered me when he forgot many.
My Uncle George who bought us an amazing Swing Set that we lived on for hours and hours.
My Sito who adored me and spent a lot of time with me just one on one…..I remember going to lunch with her and driving fast on the hills and she was amazing.
And of course my Auntie Mindy who I am honored to have been given her name.
At food city, brittney bought this crazy clown lollipop thing and it really looks like this
And we were laughing so loud and it was hysterical. So that was so much fun!
It was an amazing trip with my little sister!
Love, me
