I really needed a weekend away.

A weekend at a resort. 

Sun.  Sleep.  Reading a good book.  Catching up on Tivo’d shows.

Cooking.

Eating Ice Cream.

Bubble Baths and Swimming.

Spending time with my best friend and of course, Emma.

I’ve stayed at resorts that are hundreds of dollars a night.  I’ve stayed in hotel rooms that have two stories and three bedrooms.  I’ve stayed in resorts that bring you dessert at sundown.

Yet nothing compared to swimming in my own backyard.  Eating Ice Cream with Magic Shell….I won’t buy myself Magic Shell but when you are at Casa Elias, it’s a standard dessert.

It was a delicious weekend.  No internet.  No news.  No work.  No email. 

It ended too soon.
