37 years….

In 1972…….

• It cost 8cents to mail a letter first class.
• Atari introduces the arcade version of Pong, the first video game.
• 
• Album of the Year was by Carole King…Tapestry (which by the way does not have one bad song on it!)
• The Emmy for Outstanding Comedy Series went to All in the Family.
• Jane Fonda made an antiwar broadcast from a hotel room in Hanoi.
• A Gallon of Gas cost 55 cents.
• And on a hot, sunny day in Nogales, AZ, Ramon & Mima were married in a warm church in the afternoon…..the photographer was drunk and didn’t take any pictures. It wasn’t the wedding my mom hoped for….she wanted to be married in a field of daisies….she was a hippie.

And here we are 37 years later…..

I hope to someday be married 37 years.

I should get married tomorrow because 37 years plus my age is a very old lady! lol
