Let's talk about the graduation......

I woke up this morning at 6:15 am. I was worried about not getting to ASU in time.
I arrived and my fabulous Teen Director, Bernie, was there and so there we went.........

And found a seat.

Now look at how this place is:

and then the graduates came in..............all 749 of them!!!!

Did you see Kevin (above) walking across the stage?!?!? I was proud!

of course I was SHOCKED when I saw his hair...........he had it braided into a mokawk! He's nuts! He looked great tho! And my other kid, Ty looked beautiful!

Then we found Michael (look how grea these kids looked in their new outfits!!!) Michael is leaving for the Army on June 10th! We are really proud of him and his commitment!

So we saw many more kids but it was like 105 degrees outside and we couldn't wait to get out of there! So we jumped in the car and waited in line to get out of the parking garage trying to go and get some FOOD!

We ended up at Whataburger thanks to the traffic and returned back to ASU at 1:15 pm for round two.

Now this graduation was more emotional for me.............When I saw Nate come out of the tunnel, I welled up with tears. He's worked so hard to get that diploma and I was just overwhelemed. I sent a text to Bethany that said, "I just saw Nate walk out. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping him get here!" Bethany came numerous times to tutor him and it truly made all of the difference in him graduating. I have such a good sister who took time out of her busy life for one of my kids.

So there is Nate walking across the stage.

And those our two of my boys----Nate in the PURPLE (he wanted to stand out!) and Julius (AKA Gino D!) I am so proud (as you can see!) just tears and smiles of pride. :)

It was indeed a great day :)
Wednesday we have Chandler's Graduation.............that will be another teary night for me :)
