Random.....

When I first began to Blog, it was because I have all sorts of random thoughts. So today, you get a whole bunch of them at once cause they are on my mind.........

ready?

• Today I saw (well almost crashed into) a tumbleweed that was bigger than my car. And of all the things I could have thought of, I thought, "Where is my camera?!?!" That is not a normal reaction in a time like that.

• Grey's Anatomy made me cry today.

• It was so windy today that I was covered in dirt....my house is covered in dirt. My office is covered in dirt.

• Tomorrow I will be dusting.

• I took a two hour nap today and it was fabulous. Which means that I am getting older......I am not a napper. I dont' do it well because I wake up cranky. Today I didn't. Uh oh.

• Today I danced with a monkey/gorilla guy dressed up as Elvis. (I know, right?!?!)

• Why do people talk in third person? I think Facebook/Twitter/Myspace has added to the whole "status in 3rd person" deal..........it's a bit odd.

• I have to work this Sunday. One Sunday a year, we have a Fine food and drink event and I will be working this Sunday. It's a fundraiser so I keep telling myself "It's for my kids. It's for my kids...."

• I did this tv thing this morning and my mom forgot to watch it and my second closest friend didn't have access to that channel so that made me sad.

• My head hurts right now. (I'm sure you were wondering!)

• I had a sad feeling all day............I opened the newspaper this morning and there was a picture of one of my current Club kids who was arrested for burglary of homes (six of them!) and that made me sad.......I last saw him in January and that's when this began...

• My bestest friend brought me wildflower soup today for dinner........woohoo!!!

• I am 3/4 of the way done with the Twilight book. Last night, I can't put it down and I really needed to go to sleep and it's getting kinda serious and then I hear BANG BANG BANG on the front door. I grab my phone and run to the door.......And I yell, Who is it? And someone yells back, "Your neighbor".....and I yell back, "Is something wrong?" and she yells, "I just wanted to tell you that your light is on in your car!".....scared me at 11:53 pm but it was something so nice!

• I just watched a show where the couple went on their first date to a cooking class with a private chef......I think that is so clever because it's not typical and it's fun and different and not the "interview" of a first date.....

• I'm off to read before I go to bed.........Sleep well! :)
