My Window....

After my last post, many evenings ago, I showed you my doorway.

And released a frenzy of demands for a window.

I received emails, text messages, phone calls and visits.....all asking or demanding a window in my new office.

So I wanted to let everyone know that I do indeed have a HUGE window in my new office. That doorway is a hallway inside the building---across the hall is a dentist and two doc rooms so my Kids can receive all their medical and dental needs are taken care of. Yes, how cool is my Clubhouse going to be???

When I decided to go to Chandler some 2 years ago, my one and only "demand" (HA!) was that I had to have a say, a B I G say in the new building. And that I've had.......and then some.

I even have a PINK (Yes, PINK....and yes they do make them!) hardhat that the project manager ordered for me :)

My BIG request for my office was...........it has to have a window.

And this is why..........I never knew the beauty of a window until I came to Chandler. Let me show you why.

This is my view from my office window..............

I get to look out and see my beautiful new facility being built before my eyes.........

I get to open that window and receive fresh air (and sometimes bees) because it doesn't have a screen and the best part..................

I get to see my kids.......they walk by my window from the Computer lab to the Intel Computer Clubhouse or the Teen Center or the restrooms and they stop by for a visit..........some tell me random (I lost a tooth today! or We had burritos for lunch at school) and sometimes they tell me stories of their weekends (usually my teens!) and sometimes, they just say hello!

I love this interaction time...........and they love sticking their little heads in and saying hello. Sometimes, well pretty often, someone thinks they are funny and they try to order food......always a taco. It's odd. Perhaps I should keep tacos on hand and sell them thru the window......no, too much work.

I love my window.........I'm going to struggle being so removed from the kids in the new building. I like seeing and hearing what's going on. I might just have to set up offices in areas, we'll see.

This is my new building/new window..........
