The Elias girls always have matching jammies.........(remember we don't usually look like this.....we are without make up and hair do's)
Christmas Eve we had a delicious meal that my parents made----Prime Rib, Mashed Potatoes, Fresh Green Beans, a Fabulous Salad and rolls..........yummy!
And then............we played.........ROCK BAND!
This was so fun! The elias girls are known for playing games but nothing like this. This was so much fun! Even my dad played!
And then we played the Wii.........Bowling and Golf.
Then we opened a few presents......my favorite from Brittney was this hand painted candy dish she did herself.........knowing that I decorate like crazy, it was very cool.
This is a great picture of Bethany but I think that the picture behind her head of the massive amount of liquor that my parents have is hysterical! Nobody goes near that stuff unless they are having a party and those aren't too often.
Dani, Bethany and Zack left for Midnight Mass..........Bella was pouting because she didn't get any presents...........not really but it looked like it.Now, back to thoughtfulness.....I have the best family who really thought about what they were going to do for Christmas. Here are a few of my absolute favorites from my mama and papa...My mom made each of us girls a cookbook of the receipies that she has been the only keeper of.....Each is personalized and says funny things. I loved it. Made me cry.
Last year my mom bought me a Brighton Braclet and every time I wear it, I think of her....so this year, she repeated the surprised and this is my new braclet.
And then my dad............being a dad to four girls cannot be easy but it's always entertaining and we are never at a loss for conversation topics (Christmas meals including conversations of Marc Anthony being controlling, Women being priests, Suri Cruise....I could go on and on...)
Anyway, back on track..........my dad bought all of us girls matching necklaces....The picture doesn't do it justice but it's so delicate looking and I love that the diamonds are not out of control they seem precious.
Later I came home...........made some lunch and watched a movie....THEN, spent the rest of the evening with the Martinez family doing presents and playing with the stuff santa brought them.
It was a fabulous Christmas!
