Promise me you will always remember.......

My mom is in California with one of her oldest and dearest friends in the world. Her friend has had cancer for 12 years and has been sent home to die.

She's 60.

And my amazing mama..........is there of course. Rubbing lotion on her back, caring and loving her in her final days.

And giving of herself. No one else could love the way my mom loves. No one else cares the way she does.

So I've learned from the best.

Someone doubted me today.

And I should never be doubted. Giving is what I do best. Of my talents, treasures, time, heart and soul, you get everything I have and then some.

And then I rally the troops and get some more.

Because I learned from the best.

Remember my kid "jack"............I gave him a book not too long ago.

I wanted to remind him that I give and give. Because I learned from the best.

I give because I love. I am consistant. And I am not giving up, not going anywhere.

So I saw this quote the other day and I love it..........from Christopher Robin to Winnie the Pooh....

"Promise me you will always remember.........you are braver then you believe.

stronger then you seem. and smarter than you think."

Yes I am...............and so is my mom.
