The 3's...........

3 Fears....

~Not being able to be a mom........not necessarily conceiving but being a mom. I've known since I was old enough to play house that I was born to be a mom. Someone said to me yesterday that I was a "good mom" because I made goodie bags for my staff. That broke my heart because she could have used another word.

~Failing one of my kids---not being there for one of my kids when they are in crisis. Not being able to help them in a way I need to help them.

~I have a tremendous fear of loosing my parents...

Joys

~Alexsia---everything about her. How I get mail from her and how she loves to hear my stories...how she asks me crazy questions like,"Is kissing nasty because what if you kiss a boy after he eats food?"...how she has that little dimple in the top of her cheeks....how she believes anything I tell her (She was having nightmares for awhile so I made "angel spray" which is water and lavender oil in a spray bottle, decorated it with stickers and she sprays it before she goes to sleep......She's amazing.

~My kids---specifically my teens. They bring me great joy and make me so proud.

~I have this best friend who loves me unconditionally....who always has my back....Rebecca has been very true to me and that brings me much comfort and joy.

Collections/Obsessions

~I would have to say that I am obsessed with tivo---not necessarily tv but the whole concept of fast forwarding and rewinding and being able to catch up on random shows when I am sick, etc.

~I like bags---Dooney and Bourke bags........have a bunch. Like to mix and match them depending on my outfit.

~Shopping---I love it....

Goals

~To graduate from ASU next December.

~To be an amazing wife and mom.

~To see my club kids succeed.

Random, Surprising Facts About Me....

~There are certain foods I can eat day after day---good hamburgers (not fastfood), potato cream cheese soup from wildflower, chicken, etc.

~I sleep with a cd loop of nature sounds---for as long as I can remember, I have had to sleep with noise...started in jr high.

~Little things make me the happiest---flowers on my nightstand, bunches of lemons with my iced tea, emails from long lost friends, letters in the mailbox, birthday celebrations, good pens, all things NYC, strawberries from sam's club, bubble baths with Lush products (thanks Beth!), great deep conversations with my sisters, a great hair day....I could go on and on.
