My sister Brittney had her gallbladder removed on Friday. The whole thing was super fast because my mom left me a message that said hey, they just took her back and within 15 minutes, my sister Danielle was calling me to say she's done and good.
This is what the gallbladder does (in case you are wondering!)
The gallbladder collects & concentrates bile, a substance made by the liver and used to digest fats & acids. Gallstones develop over time if we eat too much fat
So I spent time with her Friday night and a few hours on Saturday just talking, watching Sex and the City and relaxing.....and she is drinking tons and tons of SONIC SLUSHES! I think that the guy at the sonic knows me by name now because I was there so many times!
She's doing good tho, just has to rest and relax for the next 2 weeks!
